The Russian Ministry of Defense: promising new weapon models have entered mass production

Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu stated that the Ministry of Defense is ready to participate in solving the problems of defense companies' implementation of state requests in this sector.

The ministry indicated in a statement that the new and promising models of weapons and equipment presented by Shoigu in the city of Tula, where he is on an inspection visit, have entered mass production, and that their production volumes are increasing.

And the ministry's statement continued: "Sergei Shoigu examined the progress made in implementing the orders of the Ministry of Defense by the Military Industrial Complex Corporation in the Tula region, where he inspected the workshops for the production of modern weapons for scientific and production institutions (Splav)."

According to the Ministry of Defense, the heads of the enterprises informed Shoigu about programs being implemented to expand production capacities to supply the Russian Armed Forces with modern weapons through automated production lines for assembling anti-tank guided missiles and artillery ammunition.
